RANT...
I think I should start by saying that this rant is not pointed or about anyone on my f-list.


Now I know that I have had my jokes with Tonks because she killed one of my OTP RL/SS. But I am really getting tired of, and yes actually disturbed by some of the maliciousness that is pointed towards her... What for me is more disturbing is the fact that most of these attacks are written by women. I love my RL/SS but I know it's not canon. And PLEASE STOP saying that Sirus/Remus is canon!! It is not!! That doesn't mean you can't love the pairing BUT IT IS NOT CANON!!! Please stop having this scary hatred to poor Tonks. I mean didn't JKR already do enough it wreck this once strong and interesting female character and then killed her off in a diminutive way for no real reason. Let her have some peace...

Nope, she's really not all that. I blame JKR completely for the ruining of Tonks. I might have harsh things to say when discussing her character in terms of canon, but realistically, I know it's not Tonks' fault. ;)

Yeah JKR really did a number on poor Tonks. At the end of OotP my fave Het pairing was Tonks/Snape but after HBP I just could believe int he pairing anymore. But despite what JKR did to the character there is still no reason for some of the serious hate for her, especially among the SB/RL shippers...
